Author: Sidney Halston
Publisher: Loveswept
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: October 25, 2016

Welcome to Panic, a sultry Miami nightclub where bodies and hearts move to a beat that doesn’t stop at sunrise—the setting for “a magnificent story full of deep emotion” (Sawyer Bennett).Katherine: I thought I could enjoy a night out like a normal person. I thought I could handle the flashing lights, the pulsing music, the crowded dance floor. I couldn’t have been more wrong. After having an anxiety attack and passing out during my sister’s engagement party at Panic, I wake up in the arms of the hottest guy I’ve ever seen. Nick Moreno’s no gentleman. But he might just be the man I need to help me take control of my life.

Nick: When I hear there’s some random girl passed out in the back room of my family’s South Beach nightclub, I’m pissed. My dad’s already behind bars and we can’t afford any more bad press. But after giving her a lift—literally—back to her apartment, I stop seeing Katherine Wilson as some random girl. She’s gorgeous, vulnerable, and braver than she knows. And when we kiss, all I want to do is pull her close and promise that she’ll always be safe in my arms.

Review by Candy:
It’s amazing how one day life is full and free and then a tragedy happens and everything changes. Katherine was once a vibrant girl/woman until September 11th 2001. She has become a recluse and doesn’t get out much or at all. Then one night she meets Nico at her sister’s engagement party at his club. Nico’s first impression of her is she’s on some kind of drug by the way she’s acting, his brother Matt thinks differently about her though. Nico gets stuck driving her home but staying to make sure she’s ok. That night for him and the next day for her causes a bond neither was prepared for. They go on a journey together and what happens is not what they expected.
Sidney, I very much enjoyed this story and how well written it was. This book may help others in this kind of situation of anxiety/depression from a tragedy. Your writing flows and you keep the reader hooked. Can’t wait for what comes next considering it does leave one on a cliff, so I know Matt’s story is next. POV from both is now my favorite style of writing, it helps to know what the other is thinking without having to wait.

SA Today bestselling author, Sidney Halston lives her life with one simple rule: “Just Do It” Nike, and that’s exactly what she did. After working hard as an attorney, Sidney picked up a pen for the first time at thirty years old to begin her dream of writing. Having never written anything other than very exciting legal briefs, she found an outlet for her imaginative romantic side and wrote Seeing Red, among four other novels currently in the works, including the sequel to Seeing Red. That first pen stroke sealed the deal and she fell in love with writing.

Sidney lives in South Florida with her husband and children. She loves her family above all else, and reading follows a close second. When she’s not writing you can find her reading and reading and reading… She’s a reader first and a writer second.

When she’s not writing or reading her life is complete and utter chaos trying to balance family life with work, and writing (and reading). But she wouldn’t have it any other way.
