“John Doe” was just another patient. A criminal.

As a prison nurse, I knew the rules: do my job, don’t get involved, and never let a prisoner get under my skin.

I broke all three.

My passion, my obsession, my addiction. I risked my entire life so we could be together.

I thought helping him escape from prison would be the hard part.

It turns out when you fall in love with a villain, you also turn into one.

Review by Paula:

Dark, crazy thrill ride from beginning to end. Tessa is a nurse and her husband Vic is the warden of the prison who abuses. Tessa meets King at the prison a guy who’s messed up himself. King keeps telling Tessa she deserves better to leave Vic. I was pacing while reading this book really kept me on the edge the entire time. Will Tessa ever be safe? Is King the guy Tessa should really fall for?  Lots of drama but oh the sex is steaming hot! A great prison romance story! 5 stars I didn’t want it to end.
