This is the first book in the series and what a start! Beau has to return home, he’s been putting it off for a while but now can’t ignore his brothers calls anymore. He’s not expecting to find what he did, his first day back he goes into Payton’s bakery and the attraction between them is instant. Payton is still reeling from a broken heart, she has put everything she has into her shop so she isn’t prepared for Beau. She doesn’t feel she deserves love and Beau won’t settle for one night. As the story unfolds, we are taken on a journey with Beau and Payton, there’s ups and downs, love, laughter and friendships. We get to see Beau help put Payton back together and watch her blossom and bloom, this was a highly enjoyable read with a few twists and turns that you don’t see coming and a chemistry between the H/h that’s hot enough to melt your kindle! 4 Stars
