When you’ve had the life Ricca has had, you stop being surprised when everything falls apart around you. Just when she thought she’d found a good one, Ratchet turns out to be no different. So when she gets the news her died and left her with a new little brother to fight for, she took her chance and ran. It may have been to a small country town but it was another new beginning.
Ratchet, member of the Heaven’s Rejects motorcycle club, had actually fallen hard for Ricca. When a biker falls for a woman it’s always hard and with both feet and this was no different. He spent months working up to claiming her as his own and then she disappears. One day she was there and next, gone without a word. But that’s never stopped him. He will find her if it takes the rest of his days.
While Rachet looks for Ricca, Ricca is busy trying to build the right life and keep the same hard life she had from being repeated. But will Rachet approve when he finds her? Their connection is undeniable, their passion is palpable. When they touch, the fire could consume everything around them, or it could save them all.
This is a hot read from Avelyn. I always love me a biker but the way Ratchet is, the passion he feels and shows is enough to make every girl weak in the knees. If you like a bad boy with a loyal streak and a body like a god, look no further then the very angels Heaven rejected! 4 Stars

stupid fucking mantra to keep the memories at bay. Every morning starts like
this. Sure, maybe I did need go back to my victim group counseling sessions,
but I knew the Kumbaya mentality they used couldn’t help me. The demons in my head
were of my own creation, and they were never just going to go away by telling
others who thought they were like me about them. I couldn’t forgive the men for
the things that they did to my body and even with their deaths, my mind would
never be able to see the world the same way. They took the last shred of my innocence
out in that desert, and it was something that I was never going to be able to
get back, even if I had ruby red slippers, clicked my heels, and said it three
times.
