This was an angsty read. A must nonetheless.
Coming home was the last thing Brooklyn wanted to do but for her family she did. The family of MMA fighters with a gym that needed admin sorting because the last person didn’t do very well and her dad and brothers couldn’t make head or tails of the numbers.
Shane was an ex fighter who was backed by money hungry people and when he failed at winning they let him go. Shane is back now and with Team Domination and will prove his worth. He hers the giggling of a girl and now he has two priorities, get a fight and get the girl.
Brooklyn sees Shane and tries hard to remember she has a boyfriend and not to get sucked back into the MMA life again, besides it’s only for the summer…right?
Cindi this was an amazing read! You brought together two people with different worlds and different dreams and a bit of hope which neither knew was even possible. Your writing flowed keeping me hanging on every word and you had me in tears at points both happy and sad. Telling it from both points of view is my desired style of writing because deep down I need to know the other main characters thoughts, thank you. There’s passion of varied sorts and they match the characters perfectly and you got stubborn fitting the characters to a T. Can’t wait to read Liam and Chelsea’s story, I see a lot happening there.  5 Stars!
