Loved it!! A must read but it is the beginning of a series! MMA hotties can’t lose reading this one.

Layla’s dad own a gym where MMA fighters train and are family, but Layla hates fighting but loves her dad. She has come home for a visit and it’s not the happiest day when she returns home, it’s the worst. Her Abuela dies and her world is shattered in half when losing one of her biggest supporters.
Cruz lost his father but has come to train with Dexter (Layla’s father) who was friends with Cruz’s father and a competitor in the MMA world. On the day of Layla’s return Cruz is there with everyone when the bad news is revealed. He picks Layla up off the hospital floor and stays by her side while she grieves.
These two have chemistry but will their pasts keep them from a future?
My first read by you HJ and I am hooked. This was a great read and can’t wait for the rest of the series. You give your characters heart and passion and it shows with every word written. You write with main characters P.O.V. which is my favorite because with these kinds of stories I’m dying to know what the other is thinking and feeling. You bring a ton of emotions through this story and that makes it all the more exciting to read. 5 Stars
