Cake by Carmen Jenner is a sexy, hilarious rom-com about love when you least expect it. Imagine your best friend is marrying your ex-fiance and you are asked to be the maid of honor ~ yikes! Poppy loves her job as a wedding planner but when her job meets her real life too things start to get complicated fast. Just when you think it can’t get worse…

I adored this story. Just when I figured it couldn’t get worse it always went a couple levels more. Poppy reaction to everything was so on par with how I would have handled the same situation. Leo was the perfect opposite to match Poppy ~ sexy, determined and smart mouthed ~ a beautiful combination.
