I love this author so I jumped at the chance to get my hands on this, it doesn’t disappoint. The story follows Gus and Bo, she’s an ice girl and he’s a hockey player, Bo hates Gus but that makes him want her even more. Gus manages to get her to agree to a date, will he be able to break down her walls? Will she be able to see beneath his cocky exterior? You will have to read to find out!

This was a quick read for me, I read it in one sitting but I did struggle a bit at the beginning. The reason was Gus, there were times I loved him, yes he was a man whore, a one and done kinda guy, but he was loveable, but sometimes what came out of his mouth made me cringe. As the book goes on he gets better, a little bit swoon worthy and I was totally rooting for Bo to give him a chance by the end of the book. I totally got why Bo hated him, especially with her past, but I did think she was a bit hard on him at times, comparing him to her ex. I loved his parents, especially his mam she was really funny. This is another great read from this author.  4 Stars
