This is a new to me author, I can’t believe no one has told me about her before! This is the first book in the series and what a start it is, i was absolutely captivated from the first page and spat out at the end. The story follows Ford Hartigan and Gina Luca, Gina is a wedding planner, not traditionally beautiful but she embraces what she has, from a family of career criminals, she keeps away from that but loves her family anyway. While working at a wedding she organised, she is put on the kiss cam with the extremely handsome, also a police officer, Ford. All though neither wanted to kiss, they put their heart and soul into it, leaving each other wanting more. After being thrown together, feelings bubble to the surface, Can a officer of the law, who sticks to the rules have a relationship with a woman who’s family are criminals? You will have to read to find out!

I loved that Gina wasn’t a blonde, barbie doll, that she wasn’t perfect, it made her character more lovable and real, it was a refreshing change to have a normal woman as the h. I loved Ford too, how he saw the real Gina and loved her because of her imperfections, together they steamed my kindle up! The crazy families, secrets and laugh out loud moments made this one of my favorite reads so far this year, I can’t wait for the next book in this series. 5 Stars!
