This is the first book I’ve read by this author and it won’t be the last. I was hooked by the blurb and couldn’t wait to get started, I did enjoy this book, I read it in one sitting

The Story follows Brock and Tully, they first meet at the gym and the chemistry and attraction between them was off the charts, Brock is enthralled from the beginning but is a commitment-phobe, Things start of well between them then Brock gets caught up in the moment and takes things a little too far, Tully freezes him out but meet up again when he turns up at her work. Can Tully and Brock put the past behind them and be friends?? Lovers?? You will have to read to find out!

I did have a few problems with this book mainly with the H/h, I totally understood why Tully reacted that way after the incident in the gym but felt she should have spoke to Brock sooner to explain why she reacted the way she did. This was the only thing I agreed with Tully on! I really wanted her to grab Brock with both hands and never let go! At times I felt she was playing a game with Brock and she could be a little bit whinny but on the whole I did enjoy her character and her friendship with Callie and Meredith. Brock was a total alpha male but sometimes it was a little bit much, I felt he over reacted in some situations and probably could have handled certain things differently, I loved him about 80% of the time. There were some funny moments between Brock and Tully, I loved the banter between them. Told in dual point of view, this book has murder, mystery, intrigue and a whole lot of sexy! There are some twists and turns that you don’t see coming and keep you guessing till the end, overall I did enjoy this book and I will read more from this author especially the books about Brock’s sisters. 4 Stars
