Review by Victoria:
The story I have been waiting for!!! I’ve swooned over Blackfoot in the background for soooo long.
Interim, and I stress interim, chief Keith Blackfoot is a man to be hold. He’s stayed in shape and has the just dangerous enough to be delicious air to him. He’s always been a solo guy though. Until one fiery red head turns his world upside down. But can he protect the woman who stole his heart?
Autumn is an expert in her field, burns which she had imitate knowledge of healing. Back home in San Antonio, Autumn had reached a stagnant life. So why not shake it up and move across the country on a contract? Autumn never expected to garner the attention of a man such as Keith. She also never meant to garner the attention of another person, but she’s not sure if they mean her harm or admiration. Can independent Autumn learn to trust someone to keep her and her heart safe?
Once again, Freya has me gripping my seat and clenching my thighs through another incredible story. Keith has always intrigued me in the first two Rock Point novels. He’s a mysterious man who makes you want to know more and yet you don’t. Freya has a way of creating such beautiful characters complete with realistic bodies and insecurities we can all relate to. She pulls you in from page one and next thing you know, it’s 2am and you need one more chapter. This is not a novel you’ll want to miss. Welcome to Durango, enjoy the ride with the chief! 5 Stars
Review by Christine:
Burning for Autumn by Freya Barker is the first in her new series: On Call and part of Susan Stokers Operation Alpha world and I can’t stop thinking about this couple! Freya Barker has done it again with Autumn & Keith, a mature couple who isn’t perfect and their actions feel completely realistic throughout the story. I loved the suspense/crime drama aspect to the story and was not able to guess who the guilty party was till the end and found the pacing of the story flowed with easy. Autumn & Keith had amazing chemistry on the page and scorched my kindle ~ thankfully I didn’t need to call the fire department. I can’t wait to see who the author features in the next book in the series and I highly recommend this story to anyone! 5 Stars

Freya Barker inspires with her stories about ‘real’ people, perhaps less than perfect, each struggling to find their own slice of happy.
She is the author of the Cedar Tree and Portland, ME Series, the Northern Lights Collection and the Rock Point Series. She is also co-author of the SnapShot Series.
