I enjoyed this book, though it’s not your typical romance story. The hero, Sam, had a tough childhood, his mam died giving birth to him and his dad never forgave him. As a result of that, Sam doesn’t do relationships or love and has a huge wall wrapped around his heart. Courtney and her son Ben are his tenants, a single mam working 2 jobs, she doesn’t have time for love or relationships. Together the chemistry scorches the pages.There’s a lit of push by Sam, he kniw he wants her but can he commit? Although a short story, it was long enough to cover the important parts. Some bits are difficult to read, but persevere it’s worth it.
