All This Time by Kathy Coopmans

Title: All This Time
Series: Sweet Sin
Author: Kathy Coopmans
Genre: Contemporary Romance, Rockstar Romance

Some people claim to have their hearts ripped out of their chests. To feel the world shift under their feet. To feel intoxicated by love.

Miles Wittman, the bassist for the rock band Trained in Black, felt those things until the shift became a hole and dragged him into darkness.
His mind clouded by years of alcohol abuse, the man remembers very little of the last two years of his life.

Until her.
A woman from his past.
Julia Nulty, the band’s manager sister, the sexy, exotic plus-sized model.

Bits and pieces of his memory start to surface after the two of them are caught up in an unexpected photo shoot.
She’s rocked his world. He feels the shift. The intoxication.
But Miles, he has no recollection of the night they spent together. If he finds out the truth of what happened, it could possibly lead him back to the darkness.

**The Sweet Sin series is a series of interconnected standalone rockstar romances.**

Review by Candy:

Absolutely loved it!
When you’ve hit rock bottom and rise from the ashes and start over is how I would describe the story of Miles and Julia.
Miles lost his heart when he was 18 and never really recovered. He did one thing and joined a band with his friend and rocked into stardom, but his demons drove him to the bottom of the bottle. With the encouragement of his friends/band mates he finally got the help he needed to live again kinda.
Julia has known Miles for years but she realizes that he’s come back from rehab without the memory of her. She wishes he would remember but instead there is a game they play because the sexual tension is evident to everyone around them. She decides he needs to put up or be done and gives him the ultimatum.
Will these two move on together or apart?
Kathy well done with Miles and Julia. You wrote about everyday tragedy and abuse in it’s different forms and brought together two broken souls that were meant for each other. The flow of your writing kept me interested and wanting to know how the story was going to end. Your broken characters are lovable in every way with their strengths and weaknesses. 5 Stars!

Synopsis:

He thought he was done. His career as a special forces sniper was over. He’d lost his leg and his dignity in that ambush. Now, after nearly a year of rehab, he was fighting the toughest battle in his life: prove he was still worthy to serve.

His chance:

Contract with Fury Security to pull protection for a rancher by the name of Sam Bishop. If he succeeded in routing out the bad guy, Cord would be back on the team.

The bonus:

He’d be able to get the hell away from all the counselors and therapists trying to tell him how to come to grips with his PTSD and missing limb. There were no emotions and feelings in west Texas, just rough necks and grit. Exactly what he needed.

The catch:

Sam’s real name is Samantha and she’s not a codgy old man – she’s the one girl from Cord’s past he never got over. He thought he’d lost his chance with her, and now that he wasn’t a whole man, he didn’t deserve her.

Samantha is determined to show Cord he’s everything she ever wanted. Her biggest battle isn’t the stalker threatening her life: it’s making Cord see he’s worthy of her love and so much more.

Review by Susan:

I loved this book, I totally devoured it in one sitting, it was a quick read but it was long enough to cover the important parts, the story flows well and doesn’t feel rushed. I did wish it was a bit longer as I didn’t want it to end!! I was hooked from the first page and kept on the edge of my seat right till the end, this author writes amazing, complex stories that start off with a bang and continues on from there. it is also a second chance romance, the chemistry between Sam and Cord was off the charts and sizzles the pages. I loved the background characters, they helped to enhance the story and I hope we get to read more about them soon. This was another captivating read from this author, if you have never read anything by this author, one click this today, you won’t be disappointed.  5 Stars

Review by Paula:

What a amazing story! Lexi has had something awful happen to her that changes her life forever. Trying to keep going is a struggle daily. Cruz a amazing man that made my heart skip a beat by his love and strength. Two people that build each other up in a messed up world and I loved seeing it all open up for us to experience. A very deep book with serious issues that reminds us. Strength and love will get you through anything. 5 Stars

Exclusive Excerpt:

“Do you want to come in for a while?” I asked.

Cruz stepped just inside the door and closed it, but answered, “We both have a long week ahead of us and you’ve had a very busy weekend. I probably shouldn’t stay.”

I put my hands to Cruz’s chest and shared, “I had a really great time tonight, Cruz. Thank you for giving this to me.”

“Happy to give it to you.”

“Can I give you something now in return?”

I felt Cruz’s fingertips dig in slightly at my hips before his hands moved around my waist and pulled me into his body.

“All I want is to know that you had a good time tonight,” he began. “I don’t expect nor do I want you to do anything for me in return.”

Disappointed, I dropped my gaze from his and stared at his throat.

“Why do you look like I’ve just crushed all your hopes and dreams?” Cruz asked.

I shook my head, feeling frustrated.

Cruz squeezed me a little tighter. “Look at me, Lex.”

I did as he asked.

Then, I felt the back of his knuckles brush along my cheek as he urged, “Tell me why you’re sad.”

“I feel pretty tonight,” I started. “For the first time in a very long time, I feel sexy and confident. All I wanted to do was kiss you before you left.”

I barely got the words out when Cruz’s mouth came crashing down on mine. With his lips pressed to mine, I slid my hands up his chest and around his neck. As our mouths opened and our tongues began to taste each other, my body melted further into his. One of Cruz’s arms stayed wrapped tight around the upper part of my back, but the other one…oh, the other one. It dipped lower and lower until it slid down over the curve of my ass.

I loved it, so I gave him a moan as encouragement.

He gave me a gentle squeeze.

I really loved that.

After a bit more squeezing, kissing, and moaning, Cruz tore his mouth from mine. His forehead resting on mine, we both fought to catch our breath.

Cruz did it arguably faster than me because he started speaking. “Don’t keep it in, Lexi.”

“What?”

Pulling his head back from mine, he instructed, “With me, you don’t have to hide anything. Give in to what you feel, Princess, no matter what it is. Scared, sexy, or anything in between. It doesn’t matter what it is; if it’s in me to see you through that, I will.”

And of everything he did for me in the last few minutes, what he had just said was what I loved most.

“I feel like I’m dreaming, Cruz. Are you even real?”

“It’s time to wake up, warrior. I’m as real as it gets.”

Once those words slipped out of his mouth, he pressed a kiss to the tip of my nose and declared, “I’m going to head out now.”

I let the disappointment of that wash over me for about two seconds before Cruz added, “I had a fantastic time tonight. And you were, by far, the most beautiful woman in the restaurant. Don’t think I’m leaving because I don’t like what I see. This wasn’t about me and what I want. Tonight was about giving you what you needed…giving you what someone took from you. I hope you got that back.”

Warmth spread through me. “I did, Cruz. I got that and so much more.”

Until someone tried to kill me.
Liam
I was only seventeen years old when I met Paisley, and I haven’t been able to keep my eyes off her ever since.
She was everything I wasn’t, but that didn’t stop me from wanting her, from making her mine. I’d love and protect her with my life.
The cartel started gunning for her, and that was the worst decision they could have made. They’ll never know what hit them…
Me.

Review by Susan:

Since reading about Liam and paisley in the first book of this series I have been greatly anticipating their story, it does not disappoint. Their story starts off at the beginning where Liam rescues Paisley from an attack by the school janitor, the attraction between the two of them is instant. The story follows them as they both go off separately to follow their dreams but they stay faithful to each other over that time. It is a MC story so there is some drama but the story is mainly about the love between the main characters, there’s no cheating, club whore drama, just a lot of love and chemistry that melts your kindle! Also there’s an amazing epilogue, this author does fab epilogues!

I love this series and I loved this couple, from the moment we met them as teens I have been rooting for them to get their happy ever after. I was sucked straight into the story and was totally invested in them as a couple, we get to see them blossom and bloom over the years, Liam is a growly, alpha male, he was wonderful!! Paisley has had a hard time over the years but with Liam home and behind her, she came into her own and became the amazing woman we knew she would. Another amazing read from this author, can’t wait for the next book in this series.  4 Stars

Chemistry between them sizzles, hot enough to melt the most frozen of hearts, but Danielle can’t afford to get attached. Not when she’ll be leaving soon.

Sergei doesn’t know what to do with the sexy, stubborn woman, but watching her turn his new house a home makes him wonder if she’s exactly what he needs. Can he come to terms with his feelings before she skates out of his life for good?

Kat Mizera is a South Florida native. Born in Miami Beach with a healthy dose of wanderlust, she’s called Los Angeles, Long Island, upstate New York, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Atlanta home. She’s never been able to pick which locale is her favorite, but if pressed, she’d probably choose the west coast.
Kat’s a typical PTA mom with a wonderful and supportive husband (Kevin) and two amazing boys (Nick and Max). When she’s not writing, she’s either scrapbooking or indulging in her second love (after writing) – traveling. Greece is one of her favorite places in the world. She loves that Athens is a big city with a small-town feel. The food, beaches and culture keep her going back as often as possible. She hopes to retire there one day so she can spend her days writing books on the beach.
Kat has been a working freelance writer for nearly 30 years. She sold her first article–a review of a rock concert–for $10 in 1985. Since then she’s been an entertainment journalist, waitress, bartender, legal assistant, food critic, magazine editor, substitute teacher, and sports writer. She also spent some time working at A & M Records in Los Angeles.
As you can guess from her series, the Las Vegas Sidewinders, Kat loves hockey. She is also a freelance hockey writer, covering her favorite team, the Florida Panthers, and any other teams that have an interesting story. The rest of the time, she writes novels: sexy, romantic fiction that she hopes makes you as happy as it makes her. There’s something enticing about hockey players and romance…

Review by Candy:

When you finally meet the one….you know and Devil knew the minute he laid eyes on Torrent.
Get ready to watch a mystery unfold along with a true love story in the world of the Savage MC club.
You have Devil (Logan) and Torrent who meet and know they belong together, but Torrent has a secret that she can’t share just yet with Devil. Devil and Torrent have a pull that they haven’t felt with another. Will their love conquer the odds? What comes next will keep you on the edge and needing to know how and why.
Jordan I love Devil and Torrent and the road they go down to be together. You have two strong main characters and the rest of the characters that make this story come to life. The heart that you put into the characters and the story line, you kept me wondering and praying. You have moments of laughter to offset the horrible that happens. This was a great start to the Tennessee chapter of the Savage MC. This is one of my favorite MC reads for this year and definitely a 5 star review.

Excerpt

“I um… Can you hold it out for me?” she asks, blushing a
bright red again.  Torrent is such a mixture of shyness and sarcasm that
she intrigues me every minute I’m with her—just wanting to see what she does
next.
I stretch the towel out holding it in both of my arms. I
look at her over the top of it, leering with my face showing nothing but
challenge.
 “Like this, Angel?”
“I’m trusting you not to peek,” she warns.
“Scouts honor,” I grin.
“Turn your head.”
She waits until I do it, and then stands. The sound of water
sloshing, makes my mind go wild. I know the visions I’m picturing could only
pale to the real thing…
“You’re looking!” she gasps, pulling the towel around her
quickly. She did it before I barely got a glance, but what I did see was
fucking amazing.
“Darlin’ I’m called Devil for a reason.”

Salt by Mara White

Review by Paula:
A beautiful, deep, loving story about Salana a rich girl basically has life in her lap. Tiago a guy from the Bronx who has one parent in jail and the other a junkie but has a loving grandma. When they meet chemistry is off the charts but they are totally opposite and live in different worlds. I loved this book the angst and struggles are like real life but how far will you go for someone you love? The author truly makes you feel each character and I loved every page. This is one romance story everyone needs to read 5/5 stars defiantly in my top 2018 books

AP new - synopsis.jpg

Salana Livingston did everything right, from taking her multi-vitamin to kneeling before bed to say her prayers every night. She followed the path her parents had planned before she was born, never questioned the role until the day a bus-load of sweaty kids from the Bronx got dropped at her parent’s horse farm.

Tiago Alcazar knew a life of hard knocks. An incarcerated father, a missing and strung-out mother who left him to rely on his aged grandmother for most of his life.

Tiago runs the mean streets of the neighborhood that raised him, living hand-to-mouth, everyday a gift, if he can just make it.

Burdened by a world that only wants to see her as perfect, Salana finds her greatest confidant in a boy society has labeled as worthless. Their paths cross too many times for their stubborn hearts to deny the connection, but can the delinquent and the debutant defy the odds and overcome the social constructs that condemn them?

AP new -about the author.jpg

Mara White is a contemporary romance and erotica writer who laces forbidden love stories with hard issues, such as race, gender and inequality. She holds an Ivy League degree but has also worked in more strip clubs than even she can remember. She is not a former Mexican telenovela star contrary to what the tabloids might say, but she is a former ballerina and will always remain one in her heart. She lives in NYC with her husband and two children and yes, when she’s not writing you can find her on the playground.
