This is the first book in a new series by this author and holy hell, what a start it is! I absolutely devoured this book in one sitting and was totally captivated till the end.

I absolutely loved Mercy, we don’t really know much about the brooding man from the previous series, but we get to see the man underneath the shield he projects to keep people away. I loved that Parris could ruffle his feathers and make him lose a bit control! Parris was a fabulous h, she’s a sex therapist who would love to get her hands on Mercy in more ways than one! She was fabulously sassy and feisty, she held her own with all the men of shadow security. The story is well written and flows well, there’s a few twists and turns that keep you turning the pages. We get to catch up with a few characters from the previous series and get to know more about the men from the security team.

This is another fabulous read from this author and an amazing start to a new series, wish I could give more than 5 Stars!
